Registration is now open for two upcoming FM events that you won’t want to miss.
All-hands Staff Meeting - Wednesday, September 20
The Fall All-hands staff meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 10 - 11:30 a.m. FM’s Kris Phillips will be the featured speaker and will share the latest news on the Campus Facilities Plan. We’ll also have other updates from inside FM and hopefully, have some time left for your questions.
All-hands meetings are conducted via Zoom. Advance registration is required and can be completed via our online registration form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the meeting. Please submit your questions for FM leadership, when you register.
Staff with limited access to technology can participate in person at our group viewing location in Thurgood Marshall Building room 0225 (English and Spanish). Parking is available in the J1 or J2 lots across the street, next to the Service building. There are also a few service vehicle spots in lot L just next to Thurgood Marshall, but they fill up fast.
Supervisors, please provide as much schedule flexibility as possible to encourage staff attendance and share this information with any staff with limited access to technology.
Powered-by-People Tailgate - Saturday, October 14 (NEW DATE)
FM’s second annual Powered-by-People Football Tailgate is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 at the P1 parking lot and all FM is invited. (Please note this is a date change.) We’ll enjoy food and refreshments as we prepare to cheer on our UMD Terps. Families are also invited (up to 6 additional guests).
We’ve reserved a limited number of tickets to the game, which will feature the Terps vs. Illinois. Tickets will be issued just before the conclusion of the tailgate. Once the game time has been announced, we will provide more logistical and volunteer information.
