University Mail Services receives, delivers, collects, and processes all incoming and outgoing U.S. Postal Service and interdepartmental mail for all departments and offices of the University of Maryland, including the Resident Life community.
Physical Distribution
The Physical Distribution Center is home to inbound shipments, delivery on campus, transportation management, pick-up service, and Terrapin Trader.
Terrapin Trader
The Terrapin Trader is the University of Maryland’s (UMD) ongoing surplus property operation that handles the removal of university-owned equipment via as sales, bids, and auctions. The store is open to UMD departments, other state agencies, faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
