Workday Check-in

Greetings Team FM,

Workday launched just over a month ago, and the FM team has done an incredible job preparing for and navigating the transition to the new system. While many questions remain and there is still work to be done in adapting our business processes and managing change impacts, we have collaborated exceptionally well across units to prepare for and manage the transition. Please continue to be patient with the Elevate team and your key FM contacts as they work to address questions and navigate new processes.

Key Accomplishments

  • Completion of 1,824 Workday training courses (95% of required and recommended courses).
    Hosting of 13 pre-go-live sessions with managers and supervisors.
    Numerous in-unit meetings and working sessions.
    Drafting of leave guidance for supervisors to assist with leave management in Workday.
    Conducting a Workday reporting gap analysis.
    Holding 17 post-go-live Workday open house sessions for frontline staff (191 total attendees).
    Hosting two post-go-live sessions for key HR and finance users.
    Resolving over 100 Workday-related questions and security role issues through a centralized and streamlined process.
    Processing and submitting 937 invoices through Workday.
