Key Kiosk Service begins 8/1 at City Hall & 8/7 at Severn

Greetings FM Colleagues,

I am happy to share that key access through FM’s new key kiosks will begin August 1 for City Hall and August 7 for the Severn Building. During the transition to kiosk service, contractors and FM staff who have not yet received kiosk training can continue to access keys through CRC key-control staff 6 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Severn Building room #0208.

Kiosk Training
Training for City Hall staff and affiliates is ongoing through July 27. Training for Severn staff and affiliates will run August 9-27 at the Severn Building. Supervisors should enroll their staff who need access to keys at the Severn location via online registration form.

Training lasts approximately 30-45 minutes and covers the following topics:

  • Login process
  • Setting a password
  • How to search for building keys
  • How to remove/return keys
  • Rules related to removing keys and returning keys

Thank you to the many FM team members who have assisted with the coordination of this important and collaborative project. The launch of this new electronic key management system will increase our efficiency and help secure, manage, and audit the use of every key.

Regards,

Chris
