Subject: Passing of Gregory Franklin
Good morning FM,
It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Gregory Franklin this past weekend. Greg joined FM in July 2013 and worked as a Solid Waste Driver until August 2014. After a brief service separation, he returned to FM in May 2015. In September 2022, Greg was promoted to Multi-trade Supervisor 2.
During his time with FM, Greg was a friend to many. He is remembered as gregarious, hard-working, and entrepreneurial. He enjoyed engaging with people, both socially and at work. Greg especially valued his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Yma Franklin, six children, many grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
We will share details about services as soon as that information is available. Please keep Greg’s loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
