The fall semester is one of the busiest times of the year on campus. As residence halls open and students return, expect increased activity across campus, including move-in traffic, Fall Welcome events, and the start of classes.
Sunday, August 23
- Residence Hall early arrivals begin at noon (including band and other approved groups); South Campus Commons move-in
Monday, August 24
- Early arrivals continue
Tuesday, August 25
- Early arrivals continue, including new Gemstone students moving into La Plata Hall; Courtyards move-in
Wednesday, August 26
- Early arrivals continue
Thursday, August 27
- Residence Hall Opening Day 1
Friday, August 28
- Residence Hall Opening Day 2; Fall Welcome events begin
Saturday, August 29
