It's that time of year again... Maryland Day is right around the corner and FM's Maryland Day committee is looking for volunteers to help in our Maryland Day tent on the day of the event -- Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Maryland Day is a fun and exciting event that gives us the opportunity to showcase FM to the public and provides a chance to socialize with members of the campus and local communities. Volunteering for this event is a great way to get involved and represent FM.
Volunteer shifts include morning set up, staffing during the day, and evening breakdown. One and two-hour shifts are available (two-hour shifts preferred).
This year, we’re looking for volunteers to help manage the children's coloring and temporary tattoo table—an easy and fun role that involves keeping supplies like crayons and water dishes stocked throughout the day. If you have young family members who’d like to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity for them to volunteer!
All Maryland Day volunteers will receive a Maryland Day volunteer t-shirt. Limited lunch tickets are available for volunteers who work a full day and wear a Maryland Day volunteer t-shirt.
