Subject: My New Role and FM’s Continued Success
Greetings Team FM,
Earlier this week, President Pines announced the retirement of Vice President Colella, and my transition to serve as the Interim Vice President for the Division of Administration. I wanted to take a moment to share my personal thoughts about this change and what it means for our team.
First and foremost, I want to express my deep commitment to the university and to each of you. Serving as your AVP has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am honored to have the opportunity to step into this new role as the interim during such a pivotal time. This transition is not something I take lightly, and I am dedicated to ensuring that it is as smooth as possible for all of us.
I understand that transitions can bring about a range of feelings. For some of you, this change may not impact your daily work, and things will continue as usual. For others, it might feel a bit unsettling as we navigate this period of adjustment. I want to assure you that I do not expect any disruption to our normal workflow. FM’s mission and commitment to excellence remain unchanged.
I will be starting my interim role on the 30th of September. Additionally, an interim AVP for FM will be announced soon to support our team during this time period while I am gone.
We have an exceptional team in place, and I have complete confidence in our collective ability to continue delivering outstanding results. If you have any concerns or questions during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out. Open communication is key, and I am here to support you in any way I can.
Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work. It is a privilege to work alongside such a talented and committed group of individuals. Together, we will continue to achieve great things.
Sincerely,
Bob
