July is Powered by People month, and we have planned a variety of activities to celebrate and appreciate our amazing FM staff. FM Staff Tours will be offered throughout the month, and the Ice Cream Social will be held on July 29 at FM’s primary locations.

Ice Cream Social: Wednesday, July 29
Wye Oak: 11 a.m. - Noon
Severn: Noon - 1 p.m.
7401 (City Hall): 1 - 2 p.m.

Campus Pantry Food Drive - While you're enjoying the Ice Cream Social, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to support the UMD Campus Pantry and help Terps in need. To see the pantry's most-needed items, visit the Donations section of this page.

Now for the important question… What specialty flavors should we serve at this year’s Ice Cream Social? Help us choose by completing our online survey by July 8.

FM Staff Tours:
Join us on a tour of a recently completed campus project. Registration is required due to limited availability or space. Use this online form to sign up.

• Discovery House (new graduate housing) - Wednesday, July 22 at 11 a.m.
• Stanley R. Zupnik Hall - Tuesday, July 28 at 1 p.m.

Registrants will receive calendar invitations and tour details via email. Note that registration for each tour will be closed if the tour reaches capacity.
