Greetings FM Team,
As we welcome students, faculty, and staff back to campus, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done to prepare for another fall semester. This is one of our busiest times of the year, and the successful completion of our summer projects is always a point of pride. Thank you to everyone whose hard work helped us meet our goals and prepare the campus for the university community’s return.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you’ve given me during my time as interim associate vice president. It has been an honor to serve in this role and to work alongside a team so committed to our campus and to one another.
We also have an exciting transition ahead. Tom Carroll will officially join FM as our permanent associate vice president on September 8. I know you’ll give Tom the same warm welcome and strong support you’ve given me.
As campus activity picks up, please continue to make safety a priority — especially when driving or operating equipment. Traffic will be heavier, and many students and visitors will be finding their way around campus. Please slow down, stay alert and take care of yourselves and those around you.
Thank you again for all you do. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and wish everyone a safe and successful fall semester.
Best,
Bill
