FM team,

A snow emergency event will begin at 6pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025 and  is expected to extend into Tuesday, January 7, 2025, and perhaps longer. FM weather-essential-for-snow personnel are to report as follows:

Shops:  Snow essential personnel, reporting needs will be updated on Sunday, January 5.

Essential Non-Snow Shop personnel: Check with appropriate supervisors for reporting needs.

Based on the current forecast, a significant snow event is expected to arrive overnight on Sunday, January 5 and continue through the day on Monday, January 6, 2025, with 6-12 inches of snow predicted. For this reason, please move all appropriate vehicles to shelter as you leave for the weekend to avoid the need to dig out, and to enable plow access to parking spaces.

There will be updates as the storm progresses.  Please check for updates with emails such as this and the snow essential staff information line (301)-405-1999) for any changes in reporting needs.

Thank you,

Karen
