    UMD Mail Services Winter Break Schedule

    Mail Services will operate on a reduced schedule from Dec. 24 to Jan.1, 2025. On Dec. 31, mail will be delivered to designated departments. Dec. 24-31, mail will be available for pick-up and drop-off at the Campus Mail Facility after 10 a.m. days that Mail Services is open as indicated below: At the Severn Building Mail Facility, 5245 Greenbelt Rd.

    Thanksgiving Holiday Mail Services

    UMD Mail and Distribution Services will operate on a reduced schedule on Nov. 27 and 29 (the day before and after Thanksgiving). Regularly scheduled deliveries will resume on Monday, December 2. Mail will be available for pick up and drop off at the Severn Mail Facility, 5245 Greenbelt Rd., from 8 - 11 a.m. on reduced schedule days.     FM Housekeepers Honored at President’s Luncheon

    On September 26, a group of FM housekeepers attended a special luncheon celebration at University House, the home of President Pines. The purpose of the celebration was to honor housekeeping staff nominated for the annual Cintas Custodian of the Year Award. This year, FM had 15 nominees recognized for their outstanding performance, alongside housekeepers from Residential Facilities. President Pines, VP Carlo Colella, and Bob Reuning were among the guests in attendance to applaud these hardworking FM staff members. Congratulations to all!
