We are a workforce of more than 800 employees who bring a rich diversity of backgrounds, talents, and skills to the management of UMD’s complex physical environment. We keep the lights and heat on, the water running, the buildings and grounds in top shape, and restore services after floods and other unexpected events. We serve the campus community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year. We are FM!

Thanksgiving Holiday Mail Services
UMD Mail and Distribution Services will operate on a reduced schedule on Nov. 27 and 29 (the day before and after Thanksgiving). Regularly scheduled deliveries will resume on Monday, December 2. Mail will be available for pick up and drop off at the Severn Mail Facility, 5245 Greenbelt Rd., from 8 - 11 a.m. on reduced schedule days.
